Tererai presents a speech by Nkosana Moyo, business leader and the campaign manager for Simba Makoni. Moyo was at the School Of African And Oriental Studies in London this past weekend, where he addressed Zimbabweans in the UK about Makoni’s decision to run for president. Moyo also talked about the important role that Zimbabweans in the diaspora can play in the future of their country. The event was organized by the Zimbabwe Diaspora Forum and was the first in a series they are planning for the future.

".........Zimbabweans we don't trust Arthur Mutambara and your Secretary General Welshman Ncube. Ncube is already in possession of a commercial farm he was given by ZANU PF. Before he was criticizing ZANU PF leaders' behavior over White owned farms.
Personallly l believe Simba Makoni you are supporting is being used by ZANU PF to divide votes between Tsvangirai MDC and ZANU PF. The same thing that a ZANU PF official Edgar Tekere did in the 1990s. People don't see any accountability and transparent in your MDC faction....."

I have no doubt that both President Mugabe and Tsvangirai would agree that Zimbabwe deserves better than the kind of leadership they have provided over the last 8 years. While it is arguable whether it would be fair to compare Tsvangirai with President Mugabe given that the former has sought courageously to put his life on the line to bring the language of change at the forefront of political discourse, it must be accepted that the MDC has dismally failed to provide an alternative to the ZANU-PF way of doing things.
